Cookie Policy
Every cookie this site can set, what it is for, how long it lasts, and how to change your mind.
Last updated: 30 October 2026. This page explains how yueyicnc.com uses cookies and similar storage, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store. Some are deleted when you close the tab (session cookies); others stay for a set period (persistent cookies). We also use one browser-storage entry for your consent choice, which works the same way from your point of view.
Your choice
On your first visit a banner asks whether we may set non-essential cookies. Until you accept, no Google tag is loaded at all — the request is not made, so nothing can be measured in the background.
- Accept — analytics cookies are enabled.
- Preferences — switch analytics on or off individually, then save.
- Reject non-essential — the site works exactly the same, nothing is measured.
You can change the decision at any time from Cookie settings in the footer of every page. Revoking analytics removes the Google cookies already set and reloads the page without the tags.
Cookies we set
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| yy_consent | yueyicnc.com | Records the cookie choice you made, so the banner does not return on every page. | Necessary | 180 days |
| wordpress_test_cookie | WordPress | Checks that your browser accepts cookies before a form or login can work. | Necessary | Session |
| wp-settings-{id} wp-settings-time-{id} | WordPress | Remembers screen and editor preferences. Only set for staff who are logged in to the admin area — never for visitors. | Necessary | 1 year |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another so page views are counted once. | Analytics | 2 years |
| _ga_SGQ4ZZSQN9 | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of the analytics session for this property. | Analytics | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Short-lived identifier used to group a visit; may appear alongside _ga. | Analytics | 24 hours |
Google Tag Manager itself does not set a cookie; it keeps its queue in the page memory. Any tag inside the container inherits the consent signal we send it.
What this site does not use
No advertising or remarketing cookies, no social media pixels, no session recording, no cross-site profiling. If that ever changes, this table is updated before the tag is switched on, and the banner asks again.
Third-party processors
Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) acting on our instructions. Google's own description of how it uses analytics data is published at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Data may be processed outside the EEA under the Standard Contractual Clauses.
How to remove cookies yourself
Every browser lets you see and delete stored cookies, and block them for a single site or for all sites. The setting is normally under Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data in Chrome and Edge, Settings → Privacy in Safari, and Settings → Privacy & Security in Firefox. Deleting the yy_consent cookie makes the banner appear again on your next visit.
If you block everything
The site keeps working: pages, drawings, tables and the quote form do not depend on any non-essential cookie. The only consequence is that we cannot see which technical pages buyers read, so we improve them more slowly.
