Inspection is a sequence, not a promise
Everything below happens on every order unless your drawing says otherwise. If a step cannot be met, you hear it before the batch starts — not after.
What we are certified for — and what we are not
We list only certificates that exist and can be verified with the issuing body. If your programme requires a standard we do not hold, we will say so on the first call rather than on the PO.
ISO 9001:2015
Quality management system covering quoting, production planning, inspection and corrective action.
ISO 13485:2016
Medical device quality management. Enables instrument housings and components with full device-file traceability.
In-house calibration
CMM and gauges calibrated on a 12-month cycle against traceable standards; certificates kept with the batch record.
Five gates between the raw bar and the carton
- Incoming material
Heat number checked against the mill certificate, then verified with the spectrometer on stainless and aluminium. Non-conforming bar is quarantined before it reaches a machine.
- First article inspection
Full drawing layout on the first part of a new programme, including features not called out as critical. The batch does not start until the FAI is signed.
- In-process control
Operators check designated features every two hours; QC audits the records twice a shift. Renishaw probes verify datum and bore position on the machine.
- Final inspection
CMM programme written from your drawing, not from our model. Report lists every dimension with measured value and deviation.
- Packaging & dispatch
Wrap, EPE, foam, carton or case. Photographed before sealing; the photo set travels with the shipment documents.
Documents are issued as PDF with the batch number. If your QA system needs a specific template, send it and we will fill yours in instead.
The measuring room is bigger than the sales office
Inspection capacity is what decides whether a 0.008 mm flatness call-out is real or aspirational.

Non-conformance is handled in writing, within 48 hours
Every complaint gets a numbered NC report: what was found, which batch, root cause, containment, corrective action and the date it was verified. You get the same document we use internally.
If the fault is ours, we remake or refund — and the report goes out even when the value is small, because that is the record your own auditor will ask for.
- 48 h initial response with containment
- 5 years batch records retained
- 100% remake or refund on our defects
- Annual internal audit + management review
